Patong property for sale

The island’s main resort on the west coast: a long beach, the Jungceylon shopping centre, restaurants and the Bangla Road nightlife strip. Tourists come all year round, so apartments near the beach are most often bought for short-term rental. Phuket Town and Central Phuket are about 20 minutes away over the hill.

Best for buyers who want a beach-side apartment to rent out and enjoy a lively resort.

Developers in Patong

The developer here is Sansiri. For each one we check what they have already delivered in Phuket and how they kept to schedule — that matters more than the renders when buying off-plan.

New developments in Patong: off-plan or ready

The area has both completed homes and projects under construction. A ready home can be lived in or rented out straight away; off-plan means a lower entry price and instalments until handover, but the developer’s track record matters more.

Before you buy

BURO is a Phuket real estate agency working with new developments; our service is free for you. Useful reading before a deposit: freehold vs leasehold, taxes and purchase costs, how a remote purchase works, how to vet a developer.

Buying property in Patong: FAQ

Can a foreigner buy property in Patong?

An apartment — yes, within a condominium’s freehold quota (49% of the building’s area). A foreigner cannot own the land under a villa outright: it is held on a long lease (leasehold) or through a Thai company. We review the structure of each project before any deposit.

Is Patong good for living full-time?

Patong is a noisy tourist hub, especially near the beach and Bangla Road. For a quieter life buyers usually choose neighbouring Kamala or Karon; Patong suits those who enjoy a lively resort and those buying for holiday rental.

Can I pay in instalments?

For projects under construction, yes: payment is usually split into stages until handover, and each developer sets its own schedule. We send the schedule together with the price list.

Are the prices on the site current?

Prices and unit availability change weekly, and developer price lists are not public. We keep ours updated and send the live version on request, together with layouts and instalment terms.
